APRIL

In April, Anthony turned 26! Unfortunately, I was gone practically the entire month, traveling for work. For two full weeks, I travelled throughout Southern California with a group called Synergy Brass. These guys are CRAZY, but a lot of fun. They perform more than any other group in the world, often having multiple performances every single day while they are on tour (which is 11 months out of the year). They travel from high school to high school performing in assemblies and helping kids get excited about music and appreciate the classics.

Anthony left his job at Verizon in order to search out a new career path, so he was able to join me once again in California. We stayed with his Aunt and Uncle in Palm Springs, and while there, I delivered this special surprise package:

Anthony had no idea what was inside, and the box was very heavy. When he opened it up.....

His little brother and sister had secretly flown down from Portland to visit him! Together with Ian, their cousin, we all went to Six Flags for a day! Unfortunately, we decided to go on a Saturday, so there were terribly long lines, but we amused ourselves plenty well as we waited.

By the way, we are a dang hot couple!

After a long day of fun, we came back to Linda's for some birthday ice cream!

Everyone could only stay for the weekend, but before I made it back home, I was able to spend a little time down in La Jolla, one of my favorite places on earth!
